Custom Made Orthotic Devices
At PPL we manufacture a wide range of custom made orthotic devices to your individual prescription, which suit the needs of all types of patients. Our fully custom devices are manufactured using traditional handmade techniques and modern CAD CAM (Computer Aided Design & Manufacture) methods.
Current research and theories of biomechanics from a multidisciplinary knowledge base are applied to both our manufacturing processes and product design. Our posting and modification processes have been adapted and perfected over the course of the past 25 years, and we pride ourselves on a high level of excellence in this area.
We have been manufacturing Tissue Stress design devices since the company’s formation, using the principals of close contact fitting, shock attenuation and comfort combined with high levels of functional control and stability. We implement the same design techniques in the manufacturing process for both Handmade and CAD CAM orthoses. All devices are individually designed, and hand finished to your requirements.
